Maybe it was karma that ultimately led Wisconsin to the 70-57 blowout, upset win over No. 2 Maryland.
Stone, a Wisconsin native, who chose the Terrapins over the Badgers, will sit against Minnesota, which is 0-12 in the Big Ten.
Brown didn’t let the incident before halftime bother him. In fact, it may have motivated the forward, who finished 8-for-14 from the field, scoring 21 points.
Wisconsin went on a 28-5 – 17-0 at one point – run in the first half, going into the locker room up 36-21 and never looked back.
La Crosse, Wis., native Bronson Koenig had 16 points, six rebounds and five assists for Wisconsin, which heads Michigan State for an ESPN matchup Thursday.
