Packers sign former Seattle RB Christine Michael

Fourth-year back was waived Tuesday

The Green Bay Packers have apparnetly claimed running back Christine Michael, formerly of the Seattle Seahawks.

That, according to NFL Network and NFL.com reporter Michael Garafolo.

Michael was Seattle’s leading rusher this season. The fourth-year back started nine games and had 117 carries for 469 yards and six touchdowns, before surprisingly being waived Tuesday to make room for Thomas Rawls.

The 26-year-old will make about $280,000 for the rest of the season for the Packers.

No word on who the Packers will move to make room for Michael.
