Bronson Koenig and Badgers on ESPN2 tonight
Onalaska native Matt Thomas scored 19 points in Iowa State men’s basketball team’s 96-86 win over Oklahoma State on Wednesday.
The senior, Thomas, tied a season high with four 3-pointers, going 4-for-9 from deep, as the Cyclones (11-3, 3-1) have now won five of their last six.
Monte Morris scored a career-high 30 for the Cyclones.
Thomas, who graduated from Onalaska High School in 2013, was 7-for-12 from the field. The shooting guard is third on the team in scoring with a 10.9 average.

Also a 2013 graduate, Bronson Koenig, the former Aquinas High standout, will lead 18th-ranked Wisconsin (13-3, 2-1) tonight against Ohio State (10-6, 0-3).
Koenig leads Wisconsin in scoring, averaging 14 points. Tonight’s game will be on ESPN2 at 6 p.m.
