Brett Favre headed back to Super Bowl, per request of Eagles coach and former teammate
Brett Favre is headed back to the Super Bowl.
The Hall of Fame quarterback was asked by former Green Bay Packers teammate Doug Pederson to speak with his Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday night, according to Gil Brandt at NFL.com.
Pederson served as Favre’s backup for seven years with the Packers.
Favre, of course, beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI back in the 1996-97 season. Five seasons later, Tom Brady showed up.
