UW-L women's 400 relay makes podium at DIII national championships

While the men’s 400-meter relay team won a national title, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s women’s team also got on the podium.
Elizabeth Harlos, Brittany Jaeger, Clair Shepardson and Savannah Rygiewicz finished sixth in the event Saturday at the NCAA Division III national championships at UW-L’s Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. The Eagles tied for 59th-place overall with those 3.0 points.
This marked the fourth time UWL has hosted the NCAA III Outdoor Championships (1986, 1997, 2013, 2018). George Fox University (Ore.) and University of Massachusetts-Boston tied for the national title with 44.0 points. It marks the first tie for the national title since 2008.
