Central at Logan boys hoops on WKTY tonight

It’s been a few years since the Logan High School boys basketball team has beaten Central.

Tonight that could change but it will be a challenge for the Rangers.

Central enters the contest with a 7-1 record, led by Johnny Davis’ 24.4 points a game. Logan is 3-6, so far.

Listen to the game on WKTY 96.7 FM / 580 AM or online here, beginning at 7 p.m.

The Red Raiders have beaten Logan five consecutive games, by an average of 17 points.

The last time Logan won, came at home almost three years ago today. That was Kobe King’s junior year. He had 22 points that night, but the Rangers took down Central 68-66.

King went on to lose in the state semifinals for Central that season, before winning a WIAA title the next season.

He, of course, is now the sixth man for the 22nd-ranked Wisconsin Badgers (10-3), who host Minnesota (11-2) tonight.
