Central starts strong but can't contain Eau Claire Memorial
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Central High School’s football team was winning Thursday night midway through the first half.
The Red Raiders couldn’t contain Eau Claire Memorial after that, losing 47-22.

Central quarterback Johnny Davis was 16-for-38 for 176 yards with a pair of touchdowns to Greg Kohler — from 40 and 25 yards — which helped put his team up 16-14 in the first half.
Memorial, however, took a 24-16 halftime lead after a Jack Brown touchdown and a field goal with 25 seconds remaining.
Brown finished with 169 of Memorial’s 350 yards on the ground and 469 total yards.
