Minnesota Vikings updates
There were a couple updates in regards to the Minnesota Vikings on Friday.
First, they’re tearing up the turf at TCF Bank Stadium and replacing it with a “hydronic heated field” that will ensure a “safe playing surface for the Vikings” in 2014 and ’15.”
In other words, who cares about the Minnesota Gophers, but now that the Vikings are playing there, we better make the field safe.
The Vikings are also trying to secure an MLS franchise to play at the new stadium.
And, lastly, the Metrodome demo is complete. It’s gone. Forever. Rejoice.
