L.A. Clippers donation to upgrade 350 public basketball courts
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Clippers are donating $10 million to renovate hundreds of public basketball courts across the city.
Clippers Chairman Steve Ballmer and his wife, Connie, announced the gift to the Los Angeles Parks Foundation on Monday.

Over the next three years, roughly 350 public basketball courts will get upgrades such as new floors, backboards and scoreboards.
Ballmer and his wife announced the donation at a South Los Angeles recreation center — which will be one of the recipients.
They were joined by Clippers guard Lou Williams and Mayor Eric Garcetti.
Ballmer says every kid in the city should have an opportunity to grow up to be the next Lou Williams.
